Michael is a fantastic therapist whose counseling has significantly helped my wife and I improve our relationship, and has also greatly aided me in my individual growth towards reclaiming my masculinity and assertiveness.
Michael’s approach is incredibly attuned and respectful of emotion, and in sessions he regularly helps us explore and examine the emotional underpinnings of our days in a safe space. Prior to working with Michael, my wife and I had worked with two couples counselors, and I had worked with two different individual counselors – Michael blows them all out of the water.
Michael is compassionate and honors our emotions, but he will also (very gently, and within limits) nudge u when one of us is holding back. Michael is also the first therapist who called me out on an avoidance tactic that I hadn’t even consciously realized I was using, but my previous counselors had fallen for completely, and had significantly delayed progress with those counselors. I highly recommend Michael for either couples or individual therapy, and I can especially recommend Michael for any men out there who have trouble setting boundaries, or who may be filtering the positive aspects of their male personality.

Michael is wonderful, and has provided excellent guidance for my partner and me in couples counseling.
